This hotel is one of the few options currently available on Maui, making it a decent choice if you're looking for a staycation. The rooms are functional and have kitchen options, which is great for families. However, services and amenities are pretty limited right now, and the property's condition could use some upkeep. Be prepared for strict check-in and check-out times, and some staff behavior might be unwelcoming.

The Maui Ocean Club is a beautiful property with plenty of space for fun and relaxation, especially around the pools. The views are amazing and the beachfront is simply stunning. The location is excellent, allowing easy access to the beach and local attractions, but the hotel felt stuck between a condo and a hotel, which affected our experience negatively.
